What is ISEP?
ISEP is an international nonprofit organization headquartered in
Washington, D.C. ISEP coordinates student exchanges between the United
States and 38 other countries. During the last twenty years, ISEP has
successfully sent more than 28,000 U.S. students on international exchanges
all over the world. In addition, ISEP has a multilateral exchange program
facilitating exchanges between ISEP member universities based outside
the United States.
With twelve member universities in Finland, ISEP has something to offer
everyone. ISEP’s Finnish member universities offer international
study programs taught in English in a wide variety of academic fields.
Qualified students, who already speak Finnish or Swedish, may also enroll
in other courses available at the Finnish ISEP member universities.

All Finnish ISEP universities also participate in exchanges with ISEP
institutions based outside the United States.
ISEP understands the everyday concerns of exchange students. The entire
ISEP staff has studied abroad and has thus first-hand knowledge of the
challenges that come with living and studying in another country. The
ISEP staff has extensive experience in placing students at host universities
with appropriate study programs and in transferring academic credits successfully.
