The University of Tampere, founded in 1925, is a research-oriented, multidisciplinary
university. A great variety of courses in English are taught at its six
Faculties: Economics and Administration, Education, Humanities, Information
Sciences, Medicine and Social Sciences. Courses of different faculties
can be combined according to students’ own interests. There are
numerous options for international students to learn Finnish.
