Man, nature and technology form the key elements of the scientific profile
of the University of Jyväskylä. Today, the university is one
of the Finland’s largest multidisciplinary universities with 15,000
students, including 600 international students. The university is situated
in the city of Jyväskylä in the lake district of Finland, some
170 miles north of Helsinki. Jyväskylä has the advantages of
a small town, being comfortable, compact and safe, but at the same time
it is a bustling modern center of industry and learning.
